You Are A Hornet - An Original Shakespearean Sonnet
Editor's Note: This is a Shakespearean sonnet that I wrote for my Language Arts class. The assignment was to write it about the theme of love.
The pain I feel when you are missing dear,is like the stings of countless buzzing bees;I'm filled with an extreme amount of fear,That's forcing me to rest here on my knees. Those times that I have laid right here to cry, might not have happened without all the stings, that were created when you made me die,as you took off on your fantastic wings. But even though you cause a giant swarm, and even though my heart is what you hurt, amounts of happy, friendly, merry, warmth, are given off by you when we do flirt. But all good things must end - it's true, they will.Turns out that now I have some time to kill.
